Beacon Antiques, formerly of Burley in Wharfedale, is now sharing premises with the long established Park Antiques in the neighbouring village of Menston.

            

The shop was featured in the ITV1 series Heartbeat on Sunday 20 March 2005.  It marked the acting debut of David Dickinson playing, you've guessed it, an antique dealer!!

You may also have seen it on Fred Dibnah's Made in Britain on BBC2 on Tuesday 5 April 2005.

Beacon Antiques has been established and run by Les Cousins since 1995, developing from his own long time interest in appreciating and collecting antiques.

We pride ourselves on providing good service in friendly and attractive surroundings and have built up a customer base who regularly return to see us, having been delighted with earlier purchases.  We guarantee everything we sell to be as described, with a full no quibble, money back pledge should this prove not to be the case.

We carry a wide range of stock to suit all tastes, with prices starting from as little as a few pounds.  A browse in the shop will soon uncover an interesting selection of porcelain and ceramics (including 18th/19th century coffee cans, tea bowls/cups and saucers, plates, Staffordshire, Derby, Samson and other figures etc.), silver, clocks, paintings and, of course fine Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture for which Park Antiques already has a well established reputation.

Brian O'Connell of Park Antiques is a master craftsman of over 25 years experience, able to offer a full traditional antique furniture repair, restoration, polishing and upholstery service, as well as providing advice on interior layout and design.
